COCO is a 14 year old Labrador
This lovely old chap is looking for 'end of life' foster.
Coco needs to be close to our vets in Penryn please.
This is what his foster mum has to say about him:
'Coco has come on leaps and bounds in foster, he has lost some weight, loves to potter in the garden and head out for short local walks and if there is some water to wallow in all the better! But he is an anxious old boy and finds new situations quite overwhelming, this then manifests in reactive behaviour towards other dogs when out and about. He is absolutely fine with the dogs in foster and with dogs he knows after careful introductions. Unfortunately, he finds the work routine in his foster home a bit too much, there is a lot of travel and new places which stresses him out. So sadly, he is once again looking for a quiet home where he can get to know the local walks.
At home he is a good boy, likes to be with you all the time and sleeps in the bedroom without a sound, he would like to have someone home most of the time but can be left for short periods. He can live with other dogs and cats but given his age and ‘selective hearing’ would be better without young children.
He is very young at heart and still has a zest for life, other than medication for his thyroid he is fit and healthy but does still have a few more pounds to lose. He does like to get out for a walk but is strong on the lead and would prefer quiet areas where he doesn’t have to meet lots of dogs. He is not going to enjoy trips to pubs and cafes.'
Can you offer this old boy a retirement home?
