Many people nowadays are turning to e-cards to send their seasonal good wishes. Not only can it save money, but it's gentle on the planet too.
LCH would like some help in creating 7 new e-cards for Christmas 2024, to add to a photo-personalised one similar to last year's, pictured below. These exclusive e-cards will be offered to supporters in exchange for a small donation to LCH.
Our competition is open now and the last date for entries is Friday 8th November.
Our competition is open to anyone and is split into 3 age groups:
1. 11 and under (2 winners)
2. 12-18 (2 winners)
3. Over 18 (3 winners)
This is intended as a fun, informal competition, and there is no monetary prize for the 7 winners (sorry), but winners' artwork will be feted and celebrated on our Facebook page and here on the website! Your e-cards will also proudly bear your name as artist in the accompanying text at the bottom.
6 runners-up will also have their artistic talent showcased.
Please note the judges' decision will be final.
We would love it if your creation could convey one of the many aspects of the work of LCH…
Helping to secure safe and loving homes for domestic animals
Supporting owners who are struggling to feed their pets
Continuing to care for the scores of LCH ‘Lifers’
Fostering for owners who are unwell, in hospital and other reasons
Taking on emergency and welfare cases via the police, council and vets
Assisting owners with unexpected vet bills
Offering free dog training to new adoptees
Or maybe you would like to put one of our Lifers into a Christmassy scene. You can find most of them on our website page here:
Your artwork must include the current LCH logo or a space for it, and preferably (but not essential) a space for a short message or greeting from the sender. Please see two e-cards from last year below to give you an idea of what we can work with.
