IMPORTANT NOTICE
Notice from the Trustees of Last Chance Hotel (September 2024)
In order to safeguard the future of Last Chance Hotel and the charity our founder Sam left in her legacy, the trustees have made the very difficult decision to wind down the wildlife sanctuary side of the rescue, with its related operations ceasing with immediate effect.
In these increasingly difficult financial times, where donations are decreasing and costs are increasing, our funds are rapidly running out and the costs incurred in running High View Farm are far outweighing our income.
Whilst we will no longer have a physical space to rehabilitate wildlife, with our contacts, experience, volunteer drivers and knowledge, we will still continue aiding wildlife rescue behind the scenes.
If you have any concerns, please contact us directly.

WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR FOSTERERS TO HELP US SAVE MORE DOGS AT RISK
Ideally you need to be a pet free home or have the means to separate the animals in the home (spare room etc)
Also we need people willing to take a dog, in some cases, sight unseen into your home. Some dogs come into care suddenly and need a home straightaway.
LCH covers the cost of vet care while in foster, and animals will need to see our wonderful vets in Penryn/Redruth, so travel to our vets is essential.
Fostering can be extremely rewarding.
PLEASE HELP US SAVE MORE DOGS IN DESPERATE NEED. Apply here

LCH Founder Sam
Last Chance Hotel was founded in 2011 by a group of dedicated animal lovers with Sam B'Stard at its heart. Sam's commitment to the welfare of all creatures great and small was the driving force in building LCH's reputation as a domestic animal rescue, giving the chance of a happy life to countless animals, including cats, ponies, small rodents and many hundreds of dogs previously doomed to either an uncertain future or no future at all. In early 2021, Last Chance Hotel lost Sam to cancer at the age of 53. Her dearest wish was that the LCH team continue her work and ensure the charity lived on to help those in need. This video is dedicated to Sam and all she has done for LCH. Read more about Sam and LCH here |
