PRIVATE REHOME DISCLAIMER STATEMENT
As a foster based rescue, we are limited to how many dogs and other animals we can foster and assess under our care at any given time. Our fostering capabilities are solely reliant on responsible, committed people opening their hearts and homes to an animal needing adoption. Without available foster spaces, many of the animals we profile on our website and social media pages—specifically dogs—continue living with their current owners whilst we work hard to home check, assess and secure safe and loving new homes for them to move into. But there are times that, while our volunteers are working hard, using their expertise and energy to help Last Chance Hotel find a potential new adopter or fosterer, during this process the animal's owner(s) has found another home for them without telling us, and we are only made aware when we contact them with an update on our progress. This is every bit as frustrating for us as it is to the potential new adopters when we have to break the news to them.
LCH’s small but very experienced volunteer team works tirelessly against a never ending tide of animals needing our help, and wasting our valuable time and resources is not only thoughtless, but disrespectful of the commitment we all give as volunteers. Equally, however disappointed you may be with the outcome, please understand that we can only work with the information we are given.
