Our gorgeous Leela bat has given birth to twins overnight. This is really quite rare, and is definitely a first at the sanctuary as bats tend to stick to a single pup. Cue panic stations!
After a few hasty calls and lots of photos whilst remaining as quiet as possible...North Devon Bat Care stepped in. The new mummy and babies were transported upto Devon and will receive the best care possible until they are ready for release. Panic over - phew!
